License and activation
Flowguard uses a license system for automatic updates and subscription validation. This page explains how to activate, manage, and troubleshoot your license.
How licensing works
All Flowguard plans include the same features:
- All step types
- Scheduled flows
- Website monitoring
- PDF reports
- Email and webhook notifications
- Test mode protection
- Local or remote execution
Plans differ only in:
- Monthly quota - Number of test runs and monitoring checks
- Site limit - Number of WordPress sites you can activate
You get every feature on every plan.

Quota system
Understanding quotas
Your plan includes monthly quotas for:
- Test Runs: Each time you run a flow (manual or scheduled)
- Uptime Checks: Each monitoring health check performed
Quotas reset on your billing cycle date each month.
Checking your usage
View current usage in:
- Flowguard > Dashboard - Quick overview
- Flowguard > License - Detailed breakdown
What happens when quota is exceeded?
If you reach your quota limit:
- Flows won't execute until next billing cycle
- Monitoring checks pause until reset
- No data is lost
- You can purchase add-ons for immediate additional quota
Add-on packages
Need more quota mid-cycle? Purchase add-on packages:
- Additional test run bundles
- Additional monitoring check bundles
Add-ons are one-time purchases that add to your current month's quota.
